The Himalayan Pink Salt Trick Recipe for Weight Loss

Himalayan Salt

A Himalayan pink salt flush is a natural, inexpensive detox method that involves drinking a mixture of warm water and unrefined pink Himalayan salt. This combination acts as a natural laxative, promoting bowel movements and helping flush out toxins from the digestive system.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup warm filtered water (not boiling)
  • ¼ teaspoon Himalayan pink salt (fine grain)
  • 1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar (with the “mother”)
  • Juice of ½ fresh lemon
  • Optional: 1–2 slices of fresh ginger or a pinch of ground ginger
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon raw honey (only if needed for taste)

Instructions

  1. Warm the water until it’s body temperature (about 98°F–104°F).
  2. Stir in the Himalayan pink salt until fully dissolved.
  3. Add apple cider vinegar and lemon juice.
  4. Drop in ginger slices or ground ginger, if using.
  5. Sweeten with honey only if needed.
  6. Drink slowly on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning.
  7. Follow with another 8 oz of plain water after 10 minutes.

Notes

  • Do not drink this more than once daily.
  • Only use Himalayan pink salt, not table or sea salt.
  • Follow with 1 cup plain water to support kidney function.
  • Best consumed first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
  • You can cycle the drink: 5 days on, 2 days off. On off days, hydrate with lemon water.
